Understand the game.
Make better decisions.
Individual football performance analysis built around tactical decision-making and on-pitch behaviour.
TACTEYE helps football players understand the tactical decisions behind their actions — using a unique position-specific methodology developed for individual player development.
Football is more than what happens to the ball.
Every movement, positioning choice, run, body orientation and decision influences what happens next. TACTEYE analyzes these behaviours to help players understand the game from an individual tactical perspective.

We don't just analyse the action. We analyse the decision behind it.
TACTEYE does not simply show players what they did during a match. We analyse why they made certain decisions, what alternatives were available, and how they can improve their behaviour in similar situations.
See How We Analyse BehaviourA position-specific framework for better tactical decisions.
TACTEYE's methodology breaks individual player behaviour into specific tactical fundamentals based on the player's position and phase of play.

What does the player see?

What does the player choose?

See the game differently.
Individual football analysis focused on tactical decision-making and player behaviour.
Every action starts long before the touch.
The framework separates one moment of play into three stages, so a player can pinpoint where a decision was won or lost.
Perception
What does the player see?
Scanning frequency, body orientation, awareness of opponents, teammates and space before receiving.
Decision
What does the player choose?
The option selected against the options available — and whether the situation called for it.
Execution
How does the player execute the decision?
Timing, technique and body position — and whether execution matched the intent behind the choice.
Same framework. Different demands.
A center back and a winger face different problems in the same phase of play. The methodology applies the same three stages to the specific tactical fundamentals of each position, so feedback is relevant to the role the player actually performs.
Players learn not only what they should do, but when, why and how to do it.
- Attacking and defensive decisions
- Movement, positioning and space management
- Recognising repeatable game situations
Take the framework into your own game.
Elite Sessions teach it through professional match examples. Pro Analysis applies it to your own footage.
Center Back
Defensive line decisions, when to step or drop, cover and balance, and options when building from the back.
Full Back
Defending one-against-one, timing of overlaps and underlaps, width, and recovery positioning in transition.
Defensive Midfielder
Scanning before receiving, body orientation to open the pitch, screening passing lanes and controlling rest defence.
Attacking Midfielder
Finding space between lines, timing of movement to receive, and choosing between turning, releasing or holding.
Winger
Starting position and width, when to attack the full back, and decision-making in the final third under pressure.
Striker
Movement against the last line, occupying defenders, pressing triggers, and positioning inside the box.
Analysis is adapted to the player's role within their team's system rather than to a fixed template.
Analysis built around your position.
Tell us your role and we'll structure the session around it.
One moment, five layers.
What did you see?
What did you decide?
Why that action?
What could differ?
An outcome hides the decision that caused it.
A completed pass is not automatically a good decision, and a lost ball is not automatically a bad one. Working backwards from the outcome tells a player very little about what to repeat.
By separating the situation, the perception and the choice, a player can see exactly which layer needs work — and what the better option looked like at the moment the decision was made.
We don't just analyse the action. We analyse the decision behind it.
Have your decisions analysed.
Pro Analysis applies this sequence directly to your own match footage.
Learning the game before analysing your own.
We use clips from professional leagues and players to demonstrate tactical behaviours and decision-making in real match situations.

The core ideas behind positioning, space, timing and decision-making, explained in plain football language.
Understand Position-Specific Behaviours
What the player's own role actually demands in each phase of play.
Study Elite-Level Examples
Real situations from professional football used to demonstrate the concept clearly.
Improve Game Understanding
Reading the picture in front of them rather than reacting to the ball alone.
Learn To Recognise Situations

Develop Tactical Decision-Making
Building the habit of choosing deliberately, not by default.
Learn from the best.

Start with the fundamentals.
Tell us the player's age, position and club, and we'll shape the session around them.
Analyse. Understand. Improve.
The analysis works through the player's own decisions, situation by situation.
Position-Specific Behaviour
Measured against the demands of the role, not a generic standard.
Attacking Decisions
Choices in possession: when to release, carry, hold or move.
Defensive Decisions
Pressing triggers, cover, timing of the challenge and recovery.
Positioning & Movement
Starting positions, adjustments and movement relative to ball, opponent and space.
Space Management
Creating, occupying and protecting space in each phase of play.
Alternative Solutions
What else was available in the moment, and why it may have been the stronger option.
Feedback the player can use next weekend.
Every situation is presented with the picture the player had, the decision they made, the outcome and the alternatives — so the feedback is concrete rather than abstract.
The aim is not a longer report. It is a small number of clear tactical priorities the player can recognise and act on in the next match.
